This role is responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies that drive brand growth and captures leads. This creative and strategic role demands a deep understanding of social media trends and the ability to craft compelling narratives from provided content.
While you would be a contractor, we aren’t interested in temporary. We’re looking for a person who wants to be part of the HPX Media long term. It is anticipated that the role will turn into full time.
HPX Media is a small, 12+ year-old, boutique WordPress development agency with a focus on high-quality work, over-delivering and great customer service. As a result of these values and many others, we have a low turnover of clients. We deliver quality and we need a DMM who has the same values.
Position Type & Schedule:
- Remote contractor. 15-16 hours per week to start.
- Dedicated, 4 hours, 4 days/week (or something we can agree on.)
- 9:00 AM meetings (PST) at least three times a week.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3-5 years demonstrated experience in developing, leading and managing digital marketing and social media campaigns
- Strong working knowledge of various social media channels and monitoring programs.
- You’re assertive enough to communicate what you need—to hold people accountable to give you what you need to do your job in a timely manner.
- You’re a self-starter, proactive, take on initiative.
- You can work in a co-elevating environment, where all ideas are welcome, clear and open communication is expected and respect and kindness for clients and fellow contractors is a paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CEO to develop a DM plan that will generate leads and grow our online presence and execute the plan.
- Responsible for asset creation, management, scheduling of content across all platforms.
- Regular reporting, testing for what works and what doesn’t.
- Quarterly collaborative content strategy session with the CEO on topics, schedules, etc.
- Work with the design team to get the graphics, assets you need.
- Manage the quarterly and monthly social calendar planning process,
- Convert provided industry/HPX content into posts, stories, etc.
- Create/curate quality, relevant but not necessarily industry-specific content.
- Engage with and respond to people and inquiries across all online properties.
- Analyze engagement data, identifying trends in customer and client interactions and create strategies to build online community
- Build brand awareness and expands social media followers by engaging relevant influencers
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
